A difficulty i faced
It happened when i witnessed a classmate of mine, Jack, stealing people's valuables from people bags during recess. He asked me to swear to not tell anyone or he will break off his friendship with me. I saw his facial expression. It was like a murderer's look. If looks could kill, i would have withered there and then. With a lot of thoughts flashing through my mind, i just agreed for the moment, for fear of what he would do if i did not. He then went back to his "work", while i went off for my own recess. The whole day, i could not concentrate in class, and when classmates noticed their valuables were lost and i could not tell them it was Jack who stole them, i was totally very guilty. After pondering on whether i should inform the form teacher, i decided to tell him. After school, i went to the staff room and looked for my form teacher and told him about what happened. He thought for a moment, and went to see Jack in the classroom during recess. True enough, there he was, stealing people valuables again. The form teacher stood outside the classroom for about 3 minutes before Jack noticed him. "What were you doing?" the form teacher asked. "I...I..." Jack stammered, his head tilted low and his cheeks were burning red due to the embarrassment. The form teacher then brought him to the Principal's office where he was dealt severely. After that incident, Jack turned over a new leaf, and never stole again. However, we were still friends as he realised i was helping him when i reported the incident to the form teacher.
